Create a Linux Distro in 10 minutes!

Have you Ever wanted to create your own Operating System ?

But unfortunately lacked the programming skills or time? or may be both

Then Look no further, SUSE Studios is here!
Technically you are not actually creating an OS, but you are customizing it.

But I think, its close enough! and its also free and online!!

First of all you need to create an account and verify your e-mail. If you

don't want to use your real one, just use Mintemail,

http://www.mintemail/ I always use M.E-M for when I want to register

to a site for a temporary bases.
Then you will be brought to the Gallery where you can look at other

peoples' creations. You can create a clone, or build from scratch.

If your starting from scratch you choose a base template, there are quiet a

few! Most notable are the GNOME and KDE 4 desktops. Pick whatever you

want, choose your architecture (32-bit/64-bit) and name your appliance.

This isn't really a tutorial so I'm not going to go into much detail, the site

is fairly straight forward to use. Heres a quick idea of whats involved:
1. Software.(Sources, and installed software which you can easily change

and search for. You can add different repositories and RPMs. All optional.)
2. Configuration. (Personalization, Start-up, Desktop, Scripts (If wanted),

and Disk & Memory)

There is a small bit more but alot is optional. I'd check it, quiet cool having

a distro no-one else has! You can share it on site or anywhere online

for others to use. Reading this makes it seem quiet complicated.. Its not in

the slightest, trust me!
Anyway,

Keep Enjoying :)
